When you log into the PTZOptics Fleet Manager, you will be presented with an organized view of the devices on your network that the PTZOptics Fleet Manager can access.

Columns​

By default the following columns will be visible:

  • Status:

    • Displays a devices strength of network connection indicated by a wifi icon.
      • Online Devices: Use a full Wifi icon
      • Offline Devices: Use a slashed Wifi icon

  • Auth:

    • Displays whether the device is locked, unlocked, or offline, as well as whether or not a password entry has been made and failed.
      • Unlocked: Indicated by an unlocked lock icon
      • Locked: Indicated by a locked lock icon
      • Offline: Indicated by a slashed lock icon
      • Attempted Entry: Indicated by a warning icon, this symbol means someone attempted to get into the device using the incorrect password, or the universal authentication password has not been established for the device.

  • Device ID:

    • Displays the IDs of all the available devices the PTZOptics Fleet Manager can access. This can be organized in ascending or descending order.

  • IP Address:

    • Lists the IP addresses of all available devices.

  • Serial Number:

    • Conveniently lists the serial numbers of all available devices.

  • Firmware:

    • Lists the current firmware version running on connected PTZOptics devices. The IP Addresses for devices by other manufacturers may not be shown.

  • MAC Address:

    • Lists the MAC Address of all connected PTZOptics devices. The MAC Addresses for devices by other manufacturers may not be shown.

Additional Columns​

You have the option to incorporate the following additional columns into your environment view:

  • Nickname Column:

    • Lets you add a nickname to any connected device.

  • Snapshot Column:

    • Periodically sends snapshots from devices configured to send them to the PTZOptics Fleet Manager for quick reference.

  • Model Column:

    • Lists the Model of all connected PTZOptics devices.

  • Favorites Column:

    • Lets you favorite or unfavorite any connected device, for faster location.

  • Group Column:

    • Lets you assemble groups of devices, further enhancing navigability.
