Device Management
The Device Management page allows you to define new cameras and adjust previously configured cameras.
Group 1-4: Camera groups can include up to 7 channels (Camera IP Addresses) and allow you to quickly make modifications to them.
Group 5: A specialized group allowing up to 225 channels (Camera IP Addresses).
Channel: Joystick control address.
IP: Shows the IP address of the saved network camera.
Port: The control port of the saved network camera.
Type (Network): The control protocol of the saved network camera.
Baudrate: The baud rate of the saved camera.
Address: The camera control address of the saved analog camera.
Type (Analog): The control protocol of the saved analog camera.
Operate: The Operate button lets you click “modify” to edit the settings of the saved camera, click “snap” to take a snapshot of the camera’s current view, or click “Home” to send the selected camera to the home position.
Modify Button:
Clicking the Modify Button opens a sub-menu from which you can make numerous changes to the selected camera.
- Connection:
- Network/Analog: Change the camera from Network based control to Analog.
- Protocol: Select the protocol you want the camera to use.
- Options Include:
- VISCA UDP
- VISCA TCP
- VISCA UDP SONY
- VISCA WEBSOCKET
- PANASONIC
- ONVIF
- NDI
- Options Include:
- Address: Lets you view or change the IP address of the selected camera.
- Control Port: Defaulted at 1259
- HDMI Output: Determine a URL destination for the Joystick's HDMI output.
- Trigger: Assign the camera to a custom button. These custom buttons will be further explained in the custom section.
