Video HTTP API

Use these commands to configure video encoding, output, resolution, frame rate, bitrate, keyframe interval, Q factor, and related video settings. Check the individual reference page for valid values and supported camera models.

Commands

Set Advanced Video Settings

Function: Enables or disables advanced/hybrid video features.

Set Encoding Profile

Function: Sets the encoding profile (mainprofile, highprofile, or baseline).

Set HDMI/SDI Output

Function: Sets output to either HDMI or SDI.

Set Refresh Rate

Function: Sets camera refresh rate (50Hz, 60Hz, or dial).

Set Stream Bitrate Control Mode

Function: Sets the bitrate control mode for a stream (CBR or VBR).

Set Stream Bitrate

Function: Sets the video bitrate for a stream (in kbps).

Set Stream Encoding Protocol

Function: Sets the encoding protocol for a stream.

Set Stream Frame Rate

Function: Sets the frame rate for a stream.

Set Stream I Keyframe Interval

Function: Sets the I-frame (keyframe) interval for a stream.

Set Stream QFactor

Function: Sets the MJPEG QFactor for a stream (1-99). Only applies if protocol is set to MJPEG.

Set Stream Resolution

Function: Sets the resolution for a stream.

Set Video Format for StudioPro HDMI Output

Function: Sets the StudioPro's HDMI output format.

Set Video Outputs

Function: Select which outputs are active (HDMI, SDI, USB, IP).

Set Video Template

Function: Applies a preset video template.
