The Updater App

The Updater App is built-in application running in the background of the camera that enables Horizon, Voice Tracking, and camera registration with the PTZOptics Registration Platform.

It serves as the camera’s internal “app store,” allowing users to install and manage PTZOptics software components.

How does it work?

Users can access the Updater directly through the camera:

Type the following into a web browser, replacing camera ip address with the camera's actual IP address:

Updater: http://camera ip address/update

Voice Tracking: http://camera ip address/voice

From here, users can install or update supported software modules with one click.

2. Log in to the camera's Web UI using your credentials.
