New Features
UI and Systems Changes

NDI Multicast Info: The NDI Multicast options are now displayed and can be configured from the NDI Settings section of the Web UI.
-
RTMP Startup: Modified the boot-up sequence to prevent the camera from broadcasting RTMP during startup. RTMP will begin after the boot-up sequence is complete.
-
All audio outputs can be disabled via the Audio Codec on/off toggle. Previously, each individual output needed to be toggled.

G711 Audio Encoding: Added support for G711 audio encoding to improve interoperability with third-party software systems. G711A is supported, G711U is expected in a future release.
-
Increased SRT Password Length: Expanded the supported SRT password length to 10-79 characters, aligning with SRT standards and improving compatibility with SRT-based workflows.
API and Control Updates
- Preset Recall Completion: Added a new Preset recall route that returns a success message when the camera reaches the final location of a recalled preset.
POST /api/v1/action/preset
Body:
{
"action":"recall",
"position":<preset number>
}
Example: POST http://192.168.100.88/api/v1/action/preset
Body:
{
"action":"recall",
"position":1
}
Returns:
{
"msg": "operate success"
}

- GET
http://[ipaddress]/snapshot0.jpg→ Stream 1 - GET
http://[ipaddress]/snapshot1.jpg→ Stream 2
- GET
-
P/T Limits Inquiry: Added a query for checking the camera’s current Pan/Tilt Limit settings. The query returns the current coordinates for the minimum and maximum pan and tilt limits.
GET /api/v1/info/pt-limit
Example: GET http://192.168.100.88/api/v1/info/pt-limit
Returns:
{
"panMax": 170.000,
"panMin": -170.000,
"tiltMax": 90.000,
"tiltMin": -30.000
}
- Preset Inquiry: Added a query for checking the absolute position values of saved camera presets.
GET /api/v1/info/preset/{preset_number}
Example: GET http://192.168.100.88/api/v1/info/preset/1
Returns:
{
"exist": true,
"focusPos": 1026,
"panPos": 42.432,
"tiltPos": -29.239,
"zoomPos": 3294
}
-
VISCA Command Adjustments: Modified the VISCA Privacy Mode on/off and Reboot commands to comply with the standard VISCA command format. Updated Commands:
- Privacy Mode: 81 01 3F 0A 12 0p FF (p:on = 1,off = 0)
- Reboot: 81 01 3F 0B 01 AA FF
-
Web UI Logout Fix: Fixed a forced logout issue that could occur when accessing the Web UI within 50 seconds after a reboot.
-
P/T Limit Setting: Pan/Tilt limits now persist through reboots.
-
OSD Control with Auto Tracking/Framing Enabled: Full OSD menu control is now supported with Automation enabled.
-
NDI Studio Monitor Hot Key Support: Fixed an issue where the camera did not respond to precision pan/tilt commands for the right and down directions. All precision pan/tilt commands using Ctrl + [direction arrow] are now supported in Studio Monitor.
-
Device IDs can now begin with numerical characters.
-
MIDI Logout Bug: Fixed an issue where users were logged out of the Web UI after configuring and sending MIDI commands. MIDI command mappings now persist through reboots. Note: MIDI mappings are stored in the browser cache. If the cache is cleared or a new browser is used, previously configured mappings will be unavailable.
-
Stream 2’s default resolution has been changed to 640x360 to address compatibility issues with certain web browsers (eg, Safari).
-
UVC Absolute Position Behavior: Corrected an issue where the camera did not accurately report its absolute position when responding to UVC absolute position inquiries in Windows and macOS.
-
Incorrect VISCA over IP Response: Fixed a bug causing the first byte of the camera’s VISCA response to increment when the serial VISCA address was modified. The camera’s VISCA over IP response is no longer improperly linked to its serial address.
-
Pelco P&D Zoom/Focus Response: Corrected an issue where the camera could miss Pelco P&D Zoom/Focus stop commands, causing Zoom/Focus movement to continue to its limit.
-
Pelco P&D Inquiry Bug: The camera now returns correct responses to Pelco P&D inquiry commands.
Security
- Firmware updates now require authentication using the camera’s login credentials. This helps prevent unauthorized users from uploading firmware to the camera.
Known Issues
-
Some camera settings may revert to defaults when updating to firmware version 9.1.42. Presets and their included image settings are not affected.
-
ONVIF Preview Image Fails: No image preview when HTTP Auth is enabled.
-
Line Out volume changes require a camera reboot before the updated volume setting takes effect.
-
Audio playback may sound distorted when RTMP streaming directly from the camera to YouTube using camera video templates. For best results, adjust the camera’s video and audio settings to match YouTube’s current recommendations.
Bug Fixes
-
RTSP Authentication - Guest Access: Fixed an issue that allowed RTSP Authentication to be bypassed using the guest account when the guest account was disabled. RTSP Authentication now correctly requires active user credentials to access RTSP feeds.
-
NDI HX3 Bitrate Display: Corrected a Web UI display issue where the displayed Bitrate would reset to the default value after a reboot when using NDI HX3 (the stream was operating at the user-defined value). The correct Bitrate is now displayed after a reboot.
-
Video Encoding Settings UI Fix: Fixed an issue where the Video Template field did not update correctly and display all available options when reselecting certain Video Output Modes after disabling NDI HX3.
-
SRT Decode Issues: Corrected the SRT packet structure to meet the SRT standard, resolving decode issues with certain SRT decoders.
-
NTP Server Address: Corrected an issue that prevented certain string-based NTP server addresses from being configured through the Web UI.
-
NTP Settings Modification: Fixed an issue where changes to NTP settings (ex: Timestamp overlay, time zone, etc.) required two reboots to take effect. These changes now take effect immediately after clicking Apply (no Reboot required).
-
Network Reset: The Network Reset function now resets all network-related settings in addition to resetting camera login credentials. This includes:
-
IP Configuration (defaults to DHCP mode)
-
Static Fallback IP, Gateway, and Subnet Mask
-
All NTP options (Time Sync, Time Zone, Server Address, Time Interval, etc.)
-
Network Ports (TCP, UDP, HTTP)
