Voice Tracking Activation
Voice Tracking is a licensed feature that must be activated before use. Activation links your camera to your PTZOptics account and enables the Voice Tracking firmware module.
Two activation methods are available:
- Online Activation: Camera has internet access and registers directly through the Device Portal
- Offline Activation: Camera does not have persistent internet; uses a request file
Prerequisites
- Camera must be running the latest firmware. If a firmware update is required, follow the firmware update instructions before proceeding.
- You must have a PTZOptics Community account. Create one at community.ptzoptics.com if needed.
- You must know your camera's IP address.
- A computer with internet access is required for registration steps (even for offline activation).
