Welcome to the PT-WEBCAM-80 documentation. This guide will help you set up and start using your camera quickly.

Setup Instructions
Step 1: Position the Camera
Place the webcam on top of your monitor using the integrated mounting bracket, or attach it to a standard tripod. Adjust the angle to frame your shot.
Step 2: Connect to Your Computer
Plug the integrated USB 2.0 cable directly into an available USB port on your computer. The camera is plug-and-play, no drivers required.
Step 3: Verify the Video Feed
Open your preferred video conferencing application, streaming software, or media player. Select PT-WEBCAM-80 as the video and audio source. You should see a live video feed and hear audio from the built-in microphones.
Choosing your Resolution and Frame Rate

The camera can output the above settings; you will need to access the camera's on-screen menu. To do this, visit ptzoptics.com and control the app from the legacy downloads section. If you do not wish to download the old software, many applications, such as Zoom, allow you to change the resolution and frame rate; you will need to use your application's video settings. For example, in Zoom, go to Settings > Video > Toggle the HD Button on to enable 1080p. Toggle the HD Button off to use 720p.
Mounting Your Webcam
Monitor Mount
- Open the integrated mounting bracket
- Place the bracket over the top edge of your monitor
- Adjust the camera angle up or down as needed
Tripod Mount
The camera includes a standard 1/4"-20 threaded mount on the bottom for tripod attachment.

Troubleshooting

| No video feed | Check cable connections; verify the correct input source is selected |
| Blurry image | Allow auto-focus to complete; clean the lens |
| Camera not detected over USB | Try a different USB port; use a USB 3.0 port for best performance |
| Flickering image | Set Anti-Flicker to match your lighting frequency (50Hz or 60Hz) in OSD |
