This setup covers the physical wiring interfaces on the MiniJoy for power and serial camera control.
Power the Controller
Power Setup
Use the included 12V DC adapter or power over Ethernet (PoE):
1.
DC Power Adapter
- Connect the adapter to the DC-12V power input.
- Toggle the Power Switch to turn the controller on.

PoE Power Supply (802.3af)
- Connect the LAN port to a PoE-enabled switch using a CAT 5e or CAT6 cable.
- Toggle the Power Switch to turn the controller on.
Connect Control Wiring
Use the RS-422/485 Phoenix connector for serial camera control.
