Connect via Network
This setup walks you through powering on the MiniJoy, connecting it to your network, and accessing the web management interface.
Power On
Choose one power method:
- Connect the included 12V DC adapter to the DC-12V power input.
- Toggle the Power Switch to turn the controller on.
- Connect the LAN port to a PoE-enabled switch using a CAT 5e or CAT6 cable.
- Toggle the Power Switch to turn the controller on.
Connect to the Network
Via Ethernet Switch
Connect the controller's LAN port to a port on an Ethernet switch. The controller supports both DHCP (dynamic IP) and static IP addressing. Check the MiniJoy’s On-Screen Display to view its IP address.
Can't Find the MiniJoy?
If the MiniJoy controller is not detected by your computer, check the following:
Make sure the controller is powered on and connected to your computer using an Ethernet cable.
If you are using a direct computer connection, ensure your computer is on the same network segment as the controller.
Open the joystick on-screen display, go to network settings, and check the controller IP address.
Access the Web User Interface
1. Open a web browser and enter the controller IP address.
- The controller is set to DHCP by default. You can find its IP address in the MiniJoy’s On-Screen Display in the Network tab. 2. Enter your login credentials.
You will be prompted to set up a password on your first login.
- Default Username: admin
- Create a strong password.
Explore the Web Interface
The web management interface provides the following sections:
